The 1867 Society of Homeland
From its origins in 1867, Homeland Center has welcomed residents regardless of their financial circumstances. We never ask a resident to leave because they can no longer afford to pay for care.
Our commitment to benevolent care does, however, come at a cost. Homeland provides more than $4 million in benevolent care annually.
In 2011, we established The 1867 Society of Homeland to strengthen Homeland’s endowment and further ensure that we never have to turn anyone in need away.
Hundreds of generous donors have made significant contributions by naming Homeland Center in their estate plans. We are grateful to these donors and proud to recognize them as 1867 Society members.
We invite you to become a member of our 1867 Society by making a significant, tax-deductible commitment or by naming Homeland Center in your estate plan.
