An Invitation to Uplift Your Legacy
As a member of The 1867 Society of Homeland, your legacy lives on, as you ensure that residents, patients, clients and families continue to receive the exceptional quality of care that has been a hallmark of Homeland for over one-and-a half centuries.
We invite you to advance your membership to another Tier in The 1867 Society of Homeland. Your generous support will help assure we will always be available to those in our communities who trust us with their care. Uplifting can be a one-time gift or a cumulative total over five years.
- Uplift (Tier 2) – A contribution of $5,000 can provide 50 hours of Complementary Therapies to help manage pain and uplift the spirits of our hospice patients. Services include music and art therapy, massage, pet companionship, and hair and nail care to name a few.
- Trust (Tier 3) – A gift of $2,000 every year for five years can support the continuation of Homeland Center’s trusted and gratuitous CNA training program, covering supplies and training material costs required to complete one class.
- Enhance (Tier 4) – A contribution of $5,000 every year for five years can enhance resident quality of life with Social Events featuring musicians, guest speakers, food trucks, arts, crafts, games, and seasonal celebrations.
- Bless (Tier 5) – A gift of $9,000 every year for five years (in honor of Homeland’s nine founding churches) would truly be an annual blessing for more than ONE month of non-insured benevolent care for a hospice patient or charitable care to a Homeland Center resident who’s funds have been depleted.
- Cherish (Tier 6) – A gift of $18,000 every year for five years (in honor of Homeland’s 18 cherished founding women) could provide annually more than TWO months of non-insured benevolent hospice care or charitable care to a resident who’s funds have been depleted.
Beyond your membership in the 1867 Society, planned giving may be a charitable solution that would benefit both you and Homeland. The following are just a few examples of how we can work together:
- Gifts that pay income including Charitable Gift Annuities and Charitable Remainder Trusts
- Gifts after your lifetime including Beneficiary Designations (from retirement accounts or insurance policies); Estate Bequests; and Endowed Gifts
- Gifts you make today through IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions; Charitable Lead Trusts; Memorial and Honorary Gifts; and Gifts of Real Estate and Life Insurance
