Volunteer
Homeland’s compassionate care would not be the same without the support of our kind and generous volunteers. No medical knowledge is required to be a Homeland volunteer, just a kind heart, good sense of humor, good judgment, dependability and a little bit of your time.
A variety of volunteer opportunities are available at Homeland Center including:
- Group activity aide
- One-to-one visitor
- Gift shop attendant
- Resident escort for group outings
- Leading music activities (singing, playing an instrument)
- Sharing your pet
- Sharing your area(s) of interest with a small group
- Teach a craft or skill
- Scrapbooking
- Sewing or crocheting
- Aviary maintenance
If you are interested in volunteering, please submit an application.
